CHCC Adds Full-time RN Care Coordinator

We welcomed our new RN Care Coordinator Brigitte Lamar to the team yesterday!

Brigitte comes to us from the McLean County Center for Human Services, where she served as RN Coordinator for 4 years.

Her position is made possible thanks to funds from the Change Agents to the Underserved: Service Education (CAUSE) project at Mennonite College of Nursing at Illinois State University in Normal. The college received a $2.8-million Health Resources and Service Administration grant to launch the project in June.

Brigitte herself is a graduate of the Mennonite College of Nursing and a Bloomington-Normal native.  Not only will her role include helping the Clinic provide patients the care they need to avoid hospital readmissions and improve their health, but she will  also be a leader in teaching the next generation of nurse care managers under new curriculum at MCN.
