Abel became a Clinic patient 18 years ago. He needed help managing his high cholesterol.

"The clinic has helped me because there is no other affordable health care option for me," he says. Abel gets the medication he needs to control his cholesterol for free at the Clinic.

He says his three boys are the reason he makes sure to take his medication, exercise and eat healthy.

“I want to see my kids grow up. I always say, ‘I want to take care of me because I want to take care of you guys.' Because if I don’t take care of myself, who will take care of you?”
