Reardon Legacy Society
We honor those whose gifts of time, talent and treasure create an enduring legacy of accessible health care for all.
In the early 1990s, Dr. Robert Reardon Sr. gathered a group of community leaders in McLean County, including his son Robert Reardon Jr., to address the issue of high utilization of the Emergency Room by those without health insurance.
What resulted, the creation of the Community Health Care Clinic, has profoundly improved the lives of not only the tens of thousands of patients we’ve served along the way, but also for the volunteer physicians, nurses, dentists, office workers and more that have made it possible.
The Reardon Legacy Society recognizes those who have joined the Reardon Family in bringing Dr. Reardon’s vision to life.
This includes:
- those who have included the Community Health Care Clinic in their estate plans
- members of the original Steering Committee
- winners of the annual Commitment to Health Award
