people in Illinois.
- 303,911 people without medical insurance in Illinois
make greater than $50,000.00 a year.
- 44% of those without insurance work full-time,
and another 14% work part-time.
- A large group of those uninsured in Illinois would be
considered middle class, by any measure.
- Lots of young adults are willing to risk going without
insurance. Twenty-four percent of 19-29 year olds
don't have insurance.
