Services

Medications fill two rooms at the clinic and are ready for dispensing for patients in need.  Each year, almost $4 million in free prescription medications are dispensed to clinic patients.  Although all services are free, we do ask for a $5 donation for medications.

Because the Community Health Care Clinic is a free clinic, all our services are provided absolutely free of charge to our patients.  Once established as a clinic patient, individuals receive:

- Primary medical care
- Diagnostic testing and emergency/hospital services (provided by Advocate Bromenn and OSF St. Joseph Medical Centers)
- Referrals to specialty physicians for additional medical care
- Care coordination for patients
- Free prescription medications

The Clinic does NOT provide:

- Dental Care
- Eye Exams or Glasses
- Prenatal Care
- Walk-in Appointments
- Advanced Psychiatric and Mental Health Services

Community Health Care Clinic prides itself on providing high quality care to the patients in our community who need it most.  While we enjoy telling our story, it is really our patients whose stories bring to life the dedication and commitment of the clinic staff and volunteers.
