CAUSE for Celebration: New Partnership to Increase Preventative Care

The Mennonite College of Nursing at Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois received a $2.8-million Health Resources and Service Administration grant to launch the Change Agents to the Underserved: Service Education (CAUSE) project.

As part of the program the Community Health Care Clinic will receive one full-time RN Care Coordinator to help the Clinic provide patients the care they need to avoid hospital readmissions and improve their health. This position will also be a leader in teaching the next generation of nurse care managers under new curriculum at MCN.
