Director's Letter
The Community Health Care Clinic was founded because individuals were falling
through the cracks of our local healthcare delivery system. These individuals
needed a primary medical care provider to address their chronic medical
conditions so that they could avoid emergency room visits and lengthy hospital
stays.
While the details of how the Affordable Care Act will be implemented are not
known, we do know that individuals in our community will continue to fall through
the cracks. As health care reform rolls out, it is imperative the clinic continue to
fill the gaps in our healthcare delivery system, whatever those gaps may be. The
clinic will be responsive to those gaps and remain a critical safety-net provider in
our local healthcare delivery system.
